MEDES (Foundation for Sustainable Development of Mediterranean) is a non-profit making organization working with state bodies, universities, local authorities, business and local communities to translate theoretical research into tangible local projects leading towards sustainable, integrated, participatory management of territories and their resources. MEDES promotes research into territorial development, translating know how and best practices for sustainable development into projects that can be implemented in local communities and small-medium firms.
